Citizen Science Sessions at SpliTech 2023 Conference

GREENGAGE partner DEUSTO will be chairing two sessions within the Special Session on Citizen Science at the upcoming SpliTech 2023 Conference – the international conference on smart and sustainable technologies – that will be taking place on the island of Brač, Croatia, from 20-23 June 2023. These sessions will generally focus on “Enabling Citizen Science with emerging technologies to foster pro-environmental behaviour”.

The GREENGAGE project will be introduced during the opening of the Special Session where the importance of collaboration between people and technologies will be further accentuated. This will especially concern the activities such as data collection, hypothesis testing, analysis, and outreaching for a wide range of applications concerning the crowd-sourced information. A special focus will be given to pro-environmentalism and pursuing activism towards preserving the planet and co-ideate adaptation strategies to new environmental events.
