Bristol Business Breakfast

The Bristol Business Breakfast networking event took place on the 7 June 2023 at the Bristol Business School and Bristol Law School at the University of the West of England Bristol (UWE). The discussions at the event were concerned with the issues of Transport, Travel, and Environmental Sustainability, where the GREENGAGE project had a prominent role. The innovative concept of the GREENGAGE was presented in details, along its aspirations to transform urban planning by creating safe, healthy, inclusive, and climate-neutral communities.

The event featured a brief talk by Sam Kirby, a representative from Bristol City Council, who shared the latest updates from Bristol City Council on their efforts to co-design net-zero districts for Bristol Liveable Neighbourhoods, one of the GREENGAGE’s pilot areas. Additional talks were given by Professor Zaheer Khan (UWE), who provided a brief overview of the GREENGAGE concept, and by David Ludlow and Peters-Anders Jan (the coordinator of the GREENGAGE project), who highlighted some of the ground-breaking digital innovations that are targeted as part of the project.
