Opening Bristol’s first Civic Observatory in Barton Hill

GREENGAGE is launching the Barton Hill Observatory as a co-design workshop with residents who live, work, learn, and regularly visit Barton Hill and the surrounding areas.

🙌 We’re also inviting colleagues, partners, researchers, practitioners, and the media to join us for a session and see what this is all about!

Get to learn about our GREENGAGE experiment, test crowdsourcing tools, get insights into our ongoing action research and meet Community Ambassadors prototyping a co-creative planning tool for Bristol’s just climate transition!

We have 4 sessions during the day, so people can choose one session to help us co-design the observatory and get training on the app ready to start collecting data to evaluate the impact of the EBLN in their neighbourhoods. Expect hands-on data workshops, enjoying local food and stories.

We also have a creche available and Somali and Arabic translators for the sessions in the earlier part of the day.

Please pop in and join a session which works for you.

• Session 1: 10:30am – 1pm (include lunch)
Lunch: 12:30pm – 1pm

• Session 2: 12:30pm – 3pm (include lunch)
Childcare and Somali and Arabic Translators available.

• Session 3: 3:30pm – 6pm (include dinner)
Dinner: 5:30pm – 6pm

• Session 4: 5:30pm – 7:30pm (include dinner)
