The GREENGAGE project is proud to support the newly launched initiative “Public Archaeology Campaign,” an effort aimed at empowering local communities in Castel di Tora, Collalto Sabino, and Paganico Sabino through citizen engagement and digital innovation.
As part of its mission to promote participatory social-environmental innovation, GREENGAGE is contributing a key digital tool to the archaeological campaign: the GREENGAGE app—a dedicated mobile app designed to involve citizens directly in the observation, reporting, and co-design of cultural heritage activities in the valley. The campaign runs until 25 July 2025.
Presented during the launch event by the GREENGAGE partner, Giorgio Scavino, local participation facilitator for The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy Association, the GREENGAGE app will enable citizens to become co-creators in the archaeological process. Through the app, residents and visitors will be able to share stories, submit observations, and suggest ideas for interventions—helping shape a shared narrative and ensuring a more inclusive and responsive approach to heritage preservation.
